Ninemile Ranger District to Host Community Meeting on May 17

The Ninemile Ranger District will host a community meeting on May 17 from 6:30 p.m. to approximately 8 p.m. at the Ninemile Community Center to outline the objectives and timeline of the Soldier Butler fuels reduction project as well as provide information on other project work the Ninemile district has planned over the next several months.

“This is a great opportunity for residents and others to learn about some of the other work we have planned, such as the ongoing Ninemile Creek restoration work, prescribed burning activities, recreation events, etc. And in general, this is a great chance for us to meet our community and have some important discussions with them and answer questions they might have related to the work we do on the Ninemile District.”
