‘Meet and Greet’

There will be a “Meet and Greet” with Denley Loge, who is running for Representative of House District 14, on May 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the County Commissioners meeting room of the Court House.

Authors Visit

The Mineral County Library in Superior will host Montana authors Russell Rowland and Mike Lapinski on Friday, May 27 at 4 p.m. Rowland will discuss his new book “Fifty-Six Counties: A Montana Journey.” Lapinski will be presenting his new novel, “Damaged Goods.”

Farmers Market

Alberton Community Farmers Market will be held on Thursdays from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Community Center parking lot from May 14 until Sept. 10. Vendor tables are free. Contact: KavitainMontana@gmail.com.

Flea Market

The 40th Annual Memorial Day Flea Market in St. Regis on May 28, 29, 30 in the Community Park from daylight to dark. The flea market is advertised as “Montana’s Largest.”

Wildlife Workshops

The Ninemile Workgroup will be holding wildlife workshops at the Alberton Senior Center in May. Learn about bees, animal calls, and birdwatching. Information at ninemilewildlife.org.

Health Class

Mineral Community Hospital is offering “Walking 4 Wellness” Incentive Challenge, with simple strategies to improve your health and overall quality of life. Starting June 1 through July 13 (6 weeks). Contact Stacy at 822-3714.

Car Show in Superior

The 16th Annual Old School House Rock Car Show will feature cars from Montana, Washington, Idaho, and Canada. Participate with family activities, food vendors, crafts, and more. Starting at 8 a.m., June 4th in Superior.
