The Hot Springs football team added to its state championship with a wave of postseason accolades.

The Savage Heat had five players named to the Class C six-player all-state team, with another honored as all-conference.

Senior Trevor Paro led the list after scoring 46 touchdowns in his final season and breaking the all-class state record for career touchdowns, finishing the year with 1,347 rushing yards and 471 receiving yards.

He was joined by seniors Kane Lawson, Blaine Carr and Sean Shea, and junior quarterback Marco Degel. Senior Wyatt Carr was named all-conference.

St. Regis sophomore Brock Cantrell-Field was also named all-state.

Hot Springs had the most all-state selections of any team. The Savage Heat wrapped up an undefeated season with a 54-20 victory over Westby-Grenora in the state championship game, Nov. 19 in Plentywood.
