Lincoln-Reagan Dinner to be held on April 29

The Mineral County Republican Central Committee, will hold its 10th annual Lincoln- Reagan dinner on April 29 at St Regis Community Center.

The event starts at 5:30 p.m. with dinner served at 6:30.

The dinner is a fundraiser for the committee and also benefits local B.P.A. clubs. Members of the B.P.A. clubs of Superior and St. Regis Schools are the servers. Each member is paid and a substantial donation is made to their club.

The guest speaker is Professor Kristen Juras. Juras was raised on her family ranch near Conrad, Montana. She graduated from the University of Montana in 1977 and The University of Georgia School of Law in 1982. She practiced law in Paris, Atlanta and Oklahoma City. In 1988 she returned to Montana and joined a law firm in Great Falls.

In 2000, Kristen accepted a position as a professor at the UM School of Law, teaching classes in property, business, contracts, tax, agriculture and international law. Kristen has authored several national textbooks, law review articles and is a frequent speaker at legal seminars.

She ran for Supreme Court last year.
