Alberton play puts twist on Shakespeare's 'Macbeth'

It was a “kid’s cautionary tale concerning greed, power, mayhem and other current events” as students from Alberton took to the stage for a unique variation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth last week. On April 5, parents and other community members filled the Alberton cafeteria/theater for a short play which only lasted about 30 minutes.
Draped in a white robe and crown, Isaac Warren played King Duncan who is slain by Macbeth, played by Becca Pluth. The action then transgressed into Macbeth’s tortured soul as he is wracked with guilt and paranoia over the murder. As the stage filled with wild witches, loyal soldiers and various storytellers.
