John Wilson

1. My wife and I have lived in Thompson Falls for 20 years and have been married for 22 this year. I grew up in Kalispell and graduated from Flathead high School in 1994. We chose the area because of the ease of access to the outdoors and quieter way of life. We also felt that a small school district would be beneficial for children to experience. My oldest daughter graduates from Thompson Falls this year and will head to Bozeman in the fall. My youngest daughter is currently in the 8th Grade at Thompson Falls Jr. High.

2. I have been with Thompson River Lumber Co. for 20 years and it has been a great experience.

4. Budget allocation and Costs are certainly some of the biggest challenges to any school district, but having heavily participated in both of my children’s school life thus far, I realize that there is far more to consider than budget. Academics, sports, social events are a big part of every child’s school experience and it can be the largest factor in shaping the adults that they become. I believe I can assist with non-bias decision making that best supports our Students.
