Dottie Sandkuhle, 86
Dottie Sandkuhle, 86, passed away peaceably on 5 August 2017 in Plains. She was born in McFarland, California on 25 January 1931 to Gladys Woodford (Jack Woodford) and Wayne Richards (Geraldine).
Dottie loved nature and so much enjoyed watching the deer go through her yard and nibble in the neighbor’s fields. She loved her many pets. She loved the forest and the rivers. She loved Montana.
Mom worked many years at Lockheed in California and in 1976 she moved to Plains. She said Plains felt like home even when we would go on vacation to visit grandpa Charlie Lynch in the 60’s. This is where she wanted to live out her life. She worked at Clark Fork Valley Hospital in many capacities.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Sandkuhle (2002) and Frank Lynch (1973) the love of her life. She is survived by two children, Don Lynch (Pamela) and Nancy Eastes (Russ). Not to mention her sweet black kitty, Midnight.
We would like to thank the Clark Fork Valley Hospital and Long Term Care Facility staff who took such good care of her to the last.
