Third Annual Holiday Stroll gets locals in the mood for Christmas

St. Regis music teacher Derek Larson and his wife, Shelly, play holiday music at the Old Schoolhouse Gym for the Wells Fargo Holiday Stroll on Saturday, while shoppers check out the gingerbread houses on display.
For the first time the Wells Fargo Holiday Stroll was held inside the Old Schoolhouse Gym. It was the third annual event where 14 local non-profit groups had tables set up selling products and had information about their organization’s mission. Previously the event had been held on the main floor of the Old Schoolhouse but that space is now being used by a new cafe called “Whipped Up Montana.”
St. Regis music teacher, Derek Larson and his wife, Shelly played Christmas music as people wandered around the room. It was held on Dec. 2 in Superior and new this year was a gingerbread house decorating contest. Also, attendees who brought nonperishable food items received raffle tickets to be put into a drawing for a number of fun holiday gifts. Gingerbread contest winners also received a cute stuffed horse complements of Wells Fargo.
The afternoon was highlighted by Santa who arrived at 1 p.m. to get the kids orders in time for Christmas. Including 8 year-old, Lilli Webber, who asked for Shopkins and her brother Devin, 11, who wants video games.
