Approximately 35-40 adults and children sang, carried banners and participated in the March For Life on Saturday Jan. 27 in Thompson Falls.

“I think this is the 10th year we have been doing the march. It may have been changed to January 27 because of the inauguration and to coincide with the National March for Life. Normally we march on January 22, the date of Roe v Wade decision,” organizer Don Gratz said. “It will be very interesting to see what the Pro-Life party does now.”

Margaret Juneman held up framed photos of her granddaughter Quin Hutchings, who is 9 years old now, at the march.

“Her photos have been in all of the last nine marches,” she said.

The march began at 11:30 a.m. in front of the Thompson Falls Courthouse and finished approximately 25 minutes later in front of the Internet café and barbershop on Montana Highway 200.
