The Clark Fork Mountain Cats wrestling team hosted their final meet of the season with the Superior Mixer in Superior on Tuesday, Jan. 10. Teams from Libby, Dillon, and Mission participated in the match-up. It was also Senior Night for Superior, where team manager, Catherine Shope was honored.

Also in wrestling, Clark Fork Mountain Cats participated in the Jug Beck Rocky Mountain Classic tournament. Hosted by Sentinel High School and MCPS, 33 teams from the Northwest showed up to compete including those from Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Wyoming.

The Cats came in 31st out of 32 teams with a score of four. Havre took first place with 193, followed by Sentinel in second with 165 points. In the 113 pound bracket, Superior student, Tyler VanTassel made it to the third match, but lost to Missoula Big Sky’s Dayne Martin.
