Jan. 16
— Traffic accident, Deer hit by vehicle and injured, needs to be put down.
— Violation of temporary restraining order. Person found number on a website and called.
Jan. 18
— Traffic Accident. One car rollover and is in the ditch, on top. Thompson Falls fire and ambulance sent to scene, no injuries.
— Male was reported walking on railroad tracks around the time a train had been going through Plains. No action taken.
— Report of strong smell of propane, possible leak. Trout Creek fire sent to scene. Propane tank was empty.
Jan. 19
— Traffic accident. Truck with a utility trailer half off the road, unable to stop due to the black ice on MT Highway 200. MHP, Plains Ambulance and Hot Springs fire were all on scene.
— Theft. Montana rail Link Items taken from vehicle.
— Calf reported as being stuck in the snow. Owners were contacted. Calf was not stuck in the snow.
Jan. 20
— Traffic Accident. MT Highway 200, vehicle rollover.
— Heron fire and ambulance sent to scene. Patient refused transport to hospital.
— Plains Police Department, Trespass in Plains. Male was told to leave business, may still be in the area.
— Assault in Hot Springs. Individual struck another on the ear. Arrest was made.
— Traffic. DOT reported a truck was pulling a trailer that was dragging on the pavement. MHP advised.
Jan. 21
— MT Highway 200 at mile marker 63.
— Vehicle slid off the road near Marten Creek. Owner of vehicle notified and advised to call MHP.
— Criminal Endangerment. Suspect possibly at residence and may have a weapon. One person was arrested.
— Troy Montana School bus stalled on Highway 200. A second bus sent to pick up students.
