A semi-truck driver was killed March 6 near Superior after his vehicle jack-knifed near mile marker 53. The 65-year-old man from Reseda, California had lost control of his truck while traveling east on Interstate 90. He hit a concrete barrier and his truck ended up across both eastbound lanes. He was inspecting the damage when a Chevrolet Tahoe traveling east hit the left side of the semi and then struck the driver. The Tahoe driver was a 66-year-old man from Alberton. Both men were taken to Mineral Community Hospital. The truck driver died from injuries sustained in the accident. The Alberton man did not receive any injuries. The identities of the two men were not released.
