Deborah Lee Denson

Deborah Lee Denson passed away Oct. 26, 2017 at Clark Fork Valley Hospital after an extended illness.

Deborah (Debbie) was born on March 20, 1956 in San Diego, California to J. Arthur and Fern (Breeding) Chaplain.

Debbie attended schools in Ramona, California and Torrance, California where she graduated from High School. Having lived in Montana briefly, she wanted to experience the wide open spaces. Debbie lived with her grandparents, Elzie and Delphine Breeding for a short time and worked at the “Husky.”

Soon she met Richard (Dick) Seng whom she married on Oct. 24, 1974. They welcomed a son, Christopher Phillip on June 18, 1976. They enjoyed a quiet life in Plains until Dick’s untimely death on Dec. 29, 2005. Debbie worked at Clark Fork Valley Hospital for 22 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with friends. Debbie married Don Denson on June 25, 2011. She loved her church, her family, traveling and enjoying life. Debbie was caring, fun-loving and such a hard worker, capable of completing several tasks at one time.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Aurthur Chaplain; step-father, Al Werfelmann; brother, Bill Chaplain; sister, Sherry Mathews; and husband, Dick Seng.

Surviving her are her mother, Fern Werfelmann; mother-in-law, Anita Barnes; son, Phillip Seng; husband, Don Denson; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 4 at 1 p.m. at Plains Bible Chapel. Arrangements will be handled by Sunset Hills Funeral Homes.
