Arthur Steven Case, 66

Arthur Steven Case passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017, surrounded by his family in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Steve was born April 5, 1951 in Superior, Montana, to Arthur Louis and Orie Ione Case. He joined his sisters, Diana and Teresa. He was raised in Superior, where he graduated high school. In 1974 he married Ruth Nelles, and in 1979 was blessed with a wonderful son, Stace Louis Case. After Stace’s passing in 2001, Ruth and Steve parted ways in 2002. 

Throughout his life Steve embarked on countless adventures. It was during one of these adventures that he met and fell in love with Yane Arteaga and her two boys, Jary and André. Together they formed a blessed and happy family.

Steve will be reunited with his parents, Louis and Ione; his son, Stace; his sister, Teresa; and numerous friends and relatives who preceded him in death. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Yane; sons, Jary and André of Post Falls, Idaho; his sister, Diana (Richard) Lindbach of Colville, Washington; his aunt, Clara Walgren of Fernly, Nevada; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and treasured friends. 

Funeral Services will be held at the Community Methodist Church in Superior Montana, Friday, December 1, 2017 at 12:00 PM. Steve will be laid to eternal rest in the Superior Cemetery.
