Cats scratch out win over St. Regis
During a cross county rival match the Clark Fork Lady Mountain Cats scratched out a win against the St. Regis Lady Tigers during a Tues. October 3 matchup in St. Regis 25-17, 25-15, 25-21. Cat senior Montanna Baughman led the team in kills with 5 out of 17, as well as in digs making 9 out of 37 and in aces with 4.
Justice Tate took the lead in the Tiger’s kills with 10 out of 28 and blocks with 3 out of 5. Madison Mask held all 14 of the Cats assists. Baylee Pruitt had 14 of the Tigers 36 digs and Anna Sanford and Emma Hill had 8 each out of 17 assists and Sanford also had 3 out of the teams 6 aces.
Lady Cats soar over Eagles, Seeley
The Clark Fork Lady Mountain Cats soared over the Valley Christian Eagles during a home game on Oct. 5 with a three set win 25-13, 25-15, 25-13.
Kenzie Mueller and Emmah Baughman each had six out of a team total of 22 kills, Kenzie also had a block with Montanna Baughman making the other block for the evening. Madison Mask held her game standard of all 19 of the games assists, along with making 11 of the teams 42 digs. Margaret Parkin has 8 out of a team total of 21 aces for the evening.
On Oct. 7, the Clark Fork Lady Mountain Cats continued their winning streak in Seeley, winning 3 out of 5 — 23-25, 27-25, 25-21, 19-25 and 15-10. Kenzie Mueller pounded out 12 of the teams 36 kills as well as had the team’s single block. Madison Mask had 27 of the teams 28 assists and Margaret Parkin had 14 of the teams 56 digs. Montanan Baughman had 7 of the teams 12 aces.
Lady Tigers lose on the road in Arlee
The St. Regis Tigers met defeat on the road in Arlee on Saturday 25-7, 25-10, 25-5. Justice Tate led in kills with 2 out 8 and make the team’s solo block. Both Baylee Pruitt and Emma Hill had 7 of the teams 25 digs. Anna Sanford had all 7 of the team’s assists and Chloe Creike had the Tiger’s solo ace.

Voll shines during Senior Day game
It was a rainy fall game in Superior on Saturday, Oct. 7 as the proud parents of five seniors escorted them out onto the field before the 1 p.m. game. Kaleb Ververis, Tucker McLees, Evan Hall, Connor Voll, team manager Hannah Calloway and Alberton’s Isaac Warren and their parents stood before a sparse, crowd huddled under umbrellas for Senior Day.
The Clark Fork Mountain Cats faced the Darby Tigers in an 8-man win 46-22. Cat Connor Voll dominated play making five out of six touchdowns. Starting with the first touchdown in the first quarter, followed by a score by Rusty Lucas who also pulled in extra points. Voll scored in the second quarter making it a 22-16 lead at the half.
In the third quarter Voll continued his rampage with a 2 yard run and conversion in the third followed by a 48 yard run and conversion in the fourth. Next Voll had an 18 yard run and conversion by Lucas.
