Lewis Roy, 92 died at home in Roseburg, Oregon April 16,2017 with wife Frances of 70 years, oldest son Daren and friend Rosie at his side.

Born in Greer, Idaho to Fred and Dessie (Kerns) Roy on January 11, 1925, Lewis went to school at Orofino, Idaho. He was in the in Navy and was discharged in 1946. He married Frances Burch September 5, 1946.

He had five children Daren, Duane, Greg, Jeannie and Kathy.

He worked in sawmill all his life, retired from Roseburg Forest Products in the Supervisor Department.

He was involved with the Old Time Fiddlers, playing guitar and singing. VFW and was Montana State Commander 1966-1967.

Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

I hold you close within my heart and there you will remain.

He will be buried in Plains, Montana Cemetery VFW Military Service September 16, 2017 at 2 p.m.
