St. Regis falls to West Yellowstone 42-0

St. Regis took to the home field on Saturday, Sept. 16 to face West Yellowstone in six-man football only to meet defeat with 42-0. West Yellowstone had put up 36 of those points in the first half with the final six in the fourth quarter. Score information not available.

Pirates sail over Cats during homecoming 72-40

The Victor Pirates took to the Clark Fork Mountain Cats field on Friday night during Superior’s homecoming and took home the game, 72-40. In the first quarter Kaleb Ververis had a 5-yard run. Pirate Caleb Rosen then had a 42-yard run, followed by two more 21-yard runs.

In the second quarter Ververis had a 6-yard run with a 2-pointer by Isaac Warren. Trey Green also had a long run. Rosen then had a 37-yard run putting the Pirates ahead with a six point lead at the half with 26 to 20. In the third quarter Victor had a 2-yard run, Rosen 64 yards and Kay had an interception return with 18 yards. Pulling the Pirates ahead in the third quarter with 22 more points to the Cats 6. In the final quarter Pirate Wolferson received a 49-yard pass from Kay. Kay also had a 32- and an 8-yard run. Cat Connor Voll had a 55-yard pass from Bryan Mask.

Mountain Cats scratch out Lynx in Lincoln

The Lady Mountain Cats defeated Lincoln on the road on Sept. 9 with 18-25, 25-17, 25-17, 25-11. During the evening Kenzie Mueller had 14 of 33 team kills and one of two block. Katherine Parkin had the other block, with Montanna Baughman taking 10 of 33 digs, while Madison Mask had all the teams 25 assists, and Parkin had 7 of 16 aces.

Lincoln: Kills 21 (JeriLyn Dietz 10). Blocks 4 (Dietz 2). Digs 10 (Sage Kamps 4, Tanea Reisch 4). Assists 21 (Carly Templeton 20). Aces 9 (Maggie Jorgensen 4, Dietz 4).

Homecoming spirits dampened with loss to Noxon

It was homecoming for the Clark Fork Lady Mountain Cats on Thursday, Sept. 14 when they took on Noxon only to be narrowly beaten 25-22, 15-25, 25-19, 25-22 in hard-fought games throughout the evening. Montanna Baughman had a good night and led in kills with 12 of 39, matched two blocks with Kathryn Parkin and made 11 of the teams 40 digs. Madison Masks made all of the teams 31 assists and led in aces with 5 of out of 16.

Noxon: Kills 39 (Delaney Wells 15). Blocks 4 (Wells 2). Digs 64 (Kristina Brown 21). Assists 25 (Kali Murray 23). Aces 0.

Darby defeats Mountain Cats

The Clark Fork Lady Mountain Cats traveled to Darby on Saturday, Sept. 16 and lost out on a win with 25-22, 17-25, 25-13, 25-22. In the game Kenzie Mueller has 11 of the teams 29 kills, Montanna Baughman had the only block and 13 of 54 team digs. Madison Mask topped assists with 22 out of 25 and Katherine Parkin made 4 of the teams 9 aces.

Darby: Kill 24 (Casey Ehmann 9). Blocks 10 (Kyla Toynbee 4). Digs 27 (Haliegh Golden 12). Assits 31 (TeaAnna Rouse 18). Aces 9.

Plains defeats St. Regis at home

The St. Regis Lady Tigers met Plains on their home court on Thursday, Sept. 14 only to be trampled by the Trotters 25-8, 25-16, 25-16. In the game Anna Sanford took top honors making 5 of 19 kills matching Chloe Cielke’s 5, as well as making 3 of 7 team aces. Cielke also made the only team block while Baylee Pruitt make 12 out of 20 digs. Emma Hill has 8 of 16 assists.

Plains: Kills 21 (Rachel Huenik 7). Blocks 6 (Huenik 4). Digs 26 (Jessica Thompson 8). Assists 16 (Haley Josephson 12). Aces 17 (Lindsay Laws 6).

Scarlets win over Tigers in St. Regis

The Arlee Scarlets beat the Lady Tigers 25-18, 25-12, 25-20 on Sept. 9 in St. Regis, where Justice Tate and Anna Sanford had 6 each out of 17 kills. Tate also had 3 of 4 blocks and Baylee Pruitt had 20 out of 56 digs. Emma Hill had 9 out of 16 assists and Grace Shope had 3 of 7 aces.

Arlee: Kills 29 (Ashley Revis 13). Blocks 4 (four with one). Digs 69 (Eden Morin 25). Assists 20 (Sydnie Rogers 10). Aces 12 (Revis 4).
