The Trinity Lutheran Church in Superior began Advent Sunday, Dec. 2. Their midweek services will occur on Thursdays, Dec. 6, 13 and 20 with soup supper at 6 p.m. and worship at 7 p.m.

Friends of Library Christmas Bazaar

The Friends of the Library Christmas Bazaar will be held Saturday, Dec. 8 at the Superior School elementary gym. Contact the Mineral County Library at 406-822-3563 with any questions.

St. Regis Christmas bazaar

The annual Christmas bazaar will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8 at the St. Regis Community Center, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy crafts, baked goods and candy, collectables, toys, clothing and more. Call Eileen at 406-242-0317 for any questions.

Gingerbread cookie decorating

The Alberton Library will hold gingerbread cookie decorating during their Story Hour on Friday, Dec. 7.

Christmas Nativity Showcase Dec. 14-16

There will be a Christmas Nativity Showcase Dec. 14, 15 and 16 at the St. Regis Senior Center. The display will feature collections of beautiful nativity sets from local residents. Open from 4 to 8 p.m. and located at 209 Lobo Loop. Donations accepted and it is also a canned food drive for the Mineral County Food Bank. Refreshments will be served

School Christmas Concerts

St. Regis Schools will hold their annual Christmas Concert on Dec. 18 at 7 p.m.

Dec. 19, Superior High School will hold their Christmas Concert at 7 p.m.

Alberton Christmas Concert and Art show will be held on Dec. 19 with door open at 6 p.m. and concert at 7 p.m.

Christmas Open House at library

The Mineral County Library in Superior will hold a Christmas Open House on Dec. 20 in the lobby at 2 p.m.

DeBorgia Christmas Tree Lighting & Concert

On Thursday, Dec. 6, the Happy Homemakers, aka DeBorgia Schoolhouse Foundation, invite you to join in with a tradition the west end is proud to host: the lighting of the town Christmas Tree, followed by a concert full of Christmas carols for everyone to enjoy and sing along to. The kids will love it, and the hot chocolate!

Senior Centers

Superior Senior Center serves free dinners to residents who are 90 years old and older. Dinner is every Wednesday starting at 4:30 p.m.

St. Regis Senior Center serves meals every Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and on the last Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m. Menus: Dec. 6, Fried Chicken; Dec. 13, Pork Chops; Dec. 17, Beef Pot Roast; Dec. 20, Meatloaf; and Dec. 27, Chili and Soup.

The Alberton Senior Center serves lunches each Tuesday and Thursday at noon.

Free Legal Advice Clinics available

You can now find the Free Legal Advice Clinic schedule on MontanaLawHelp.org, including Missoula Free Family Law Advice Clinic: Dec. 5, from 5 to 7:15 p.m., and Montana Pro Bono Connect Phone Advice Project: statewide and ongoing.

All clients must have an appointment in order to attend any of the free legal advice clinics.

To schedule an appointment for a clinic, individuals must apply for MLSA services.

A1 Auto Transport Scholarship applications

Students enrolled in college, trade school or accredited institute may apply for a scholarship through A1 Auto Transport, Inc,, a car shipping and moving company out of Aptos, Calif.
