Quilts of Valor and VFW flag retirement ceremonies
U.S. veterans who received Quilts of Valor from Joint Operations Mariposa last Saturday evening at the Horse Plains VFW Post 3596 are, front row from left, Charles Forman, Gary Jenson, Ron Chisenhall and Bob Kunch; and back row, James Gillibrand, Ronald Kilbury and Jimmie Allison. Ladies who are members of the Horse Plains VFW Post 3596 Auxiliary prepared an excellent meal last Saturday afternoon before the Quilts of Valor presentations at the VFW.
