Margaret French

Margaret Rose French died peacefully in her sleep at the age of 90 on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018. She was born in Dillon, Mont., on Aug. 11, 1928, the daughter of John and Ellen Laden. Margaret was the youngest of six children.

Margaret married Harry French in Butte on Sept. 14, 1946. They moved to Plains, Mont., in the spring of 1956, and she called this home for 62 years.

Margaret is survived by her sons, David, and wife Terry of Conroe, Texas, and Daren of Spokane, Wash. She was blessed with four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; and son, Donald.

A memorial service is planned Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, at 1 p.m. at the Plains Alliance Church.
