The Lady Tigers faced Plains on the road on Feb. 2 with a loss, 46-33. The two teams kept pace with each other throughout most of the game with the Trotters out front after the first quarter by 6 points, 14-8. By the half the Trotters were only up by one point, 21-20. In the third quarter both teams put up 10 points and the Trotters maintained their one point lead. But in the fourth quarter they got a lucky break and managed to throw up 15 points to the Tigers 3 for the win. Tiger Madison Kelly had the lead in points with 12, Emma Hill had 9, Anna Sanford 6, Kylee Thompson 4 and Justice Tate 2.

Tiger boys lose to Plain, 60-15

At home on Feb. 2 the St. Regis boys took a loss to Plains, 60-15. Plains came out hot in the first half of the game putting 26 points on the board to the Tigers 11. The last half of the game with a virtual shut out with the Tigers putting up a pair of deuces to Plains 34 points. During the game, Tiger Tanner Day had 6 points, Jake Jasper 4, Andrew Sanford 3 and Ian Farris 2.

Lady Tigers fly high over Two Eagle River with 63-22 win

St. Regis Lady Tigers face Two Eagle River on the road in District 14C play with a triumphant win, 63-22 on Feb. 3. The teams had a six point margin after the first quarter with the Tigers up 18-12. But in the second quarter they put on the heat and pulled ahead with 12 points to the Eagles 2. The Tigers kept up the pressure and left the Eagles in the dust after the third quarter putting up another 20 points to their 6. Justice Tate had an outstanding game with 31 points, followed by Madison Kelly with 18. Kylee Thompson had 8 and Anna Sanford 4.

Tigers lose on the road to Two Eagle, 87-63

St. Regis teams played Two Eagle River on the road on Feb. 3 where the boys lost in a high scoring game, 87-63. By the half, Two Eagle had pulled into the lead with an 18 point lead, 50-32. In the third quarter the teams were close with the Tigers putting up 21 points and Two Eagle 17 points. But in the fourth quarter Two Eagle pulled way ahead putting another 20 points up to the Tigers 10. Tiger Ian Farris had a good game with 25 points, Nic Day had 10, Andrew Sanford 8, Adam Day 7, Ryan Teeter 5 and James Booker had 3 game points.

Cat boys take loss to Two Eagle on road, 70-52

The Clark Fork Mountain Cat boys faced Two Eagle River on the road on Feb. 2 with a high scoring game but a loss, 70-52. The Cats came out strong in the first quarter and put up 14 points to the Eagles 5. But during the rest of the game the Eagles turned up the heat and rebounded by the half with a one point lead of 25-24. In the third and fourth quarter they out-paced the Tigers by 7 points and then 10 points for the win. Connor Voll had 13 points for the game followed by Carson Callison with 12, Aaron Waddle 11, Danner Haskins and Bryan Mask both with 6 points, Hewston Coon 3 and Drake Neill with 1 point.

Lady JV Cats chew up Two Eagle at home, 57-21

The Clark Fork Mountain Cat JV team faced Two Eagle at home on Feb. 2 for the win, 57-21. The Cats came out strong in the first quarter putting up 13 points to Two Eagle’s 7. By the half the Cats were on top of their game with 33 points to the Eagles 13. They continued to pound down the court with 16 points in the third and 8 in the fourth quarter to the Eagles 8 points in the second half. Sophia Krutilla led the Cats with 19 points. Emmah Baughman had 14 points, Kylie Plakke 10, both Madison Courser and Kathryn Parkin had 5 and Margaret Parkin had 4.

Cat boys clobber Pirates at home, 63-49

On Feb. 3 the Clark Fork Mountain Cats faced the Victor Pirates at home in District 13C play in Alberton with a win, 63-49. The Cats came out strong in the first quarter putting 23 points on the board to the Pirates 12. They kept pace in the second quarter with a 16 point lead at the half, 38-22. They also had a strong third quarter with another 16 points to the Pirates 8. Cat, Carson Callison, led the pack with 24 points followed by Bryan Mask with 14. Aaron Waddle had 9 points for the game, Danner Haskins and Connor Voll each had 8 points.

Lady Cats maintain undefeated crown with win over Pirates, 78-10

Clark Fork Lady Mountain Cats continued their march toward an undefeated season with a win over the Victor Pirates on Feb. 3 in Alberton, 78-10. They kept the Lady Pirates away from the hoop throughout most of the game with the score, 55-1 by the half. They kept pounding the boards in the second half for the irrefutable win where several Cats added to the score including top contender Kenzie Mueller with 20 points, followed by Hailey Kelly with 18. Madison Lommen had 14, Madison Mask 9, Montanna Baughman had 8, Kathryn Parkin 3, Sophia Krutilla, Hannah Calloway and Margaret Parkin all had 2 points each.
