Bonnie was born June 4, 1937, in Hot Springs, Montana, to Jonnie Eileene Howard and Boyd Managhan. Bonnie attended school in Libby and St. Regis.

She married Charles Charvat in 1955. They welcomed two sons Charles John Charvat and Albert Boyd Charvat. Bonnie’s greatest joy was being a stay home mother and grandmother. She also took in several foster kids over the years. Bonnie loved kids, crocheting, cooking, the outdoors, friends and most of all her family. Bonnie loved everyone she met. She was so loving, caring, kind, compassionate and would give the shirt off her back to anyone that needed it. Bonnie also loved spending time with her special friends Fern Werfelmann, Shirley Casper, Marlene Durland and talking on the phone with Ellen Martin.
