Thankful for support

As the newspaper said, Jake was sentenced to one year and one day, $10,000 restitution, and three years supervised probation.

Some will say “well he did break the law,” ”he did dispute the judge’s authority,” or ”he should have never been there,” etc; and everybody is entitled to their own opinion that is what a republic is all about.

But how many out there who read about his sentencing sat in the courtroom and witnessed all the Brady violations that robbed our son as well as the other men of a just and fair trial by their peers?

How many out there have studied how the Masher Refuge came about? It’s purpose? What was discovered, through the acts at the Refuge?

Have you studied who really owned the land? It’s history, etc?

Or are we content along with thousands of others to accept the media lies, the corrupted agencies of the government, and kiss the rings of our masters as good slaves?

Am I any different then the masses? Savoy Finicum knew where he stood, even unto death. Am I that dedicated to liberty? Or did I in fear of retaliation by the judge encourage my son not to speak at the meeting in Paradise on Saturday (January 20), something he so badly wanted to do. He wanted people in this area to hear his story from his own lips. I owe my son an apology and am ashamed of my lack of courage. What about all of you?

Jake stood for liberty, setting that he was a living soul, a son of God, and that he would speak as himself.

That he did not consent to the total injustices that the defect government had placed upon him and the others. The judge called it “legal gibberish” and denied his right to speak for himself.

Have you ever listened to prosecutors, lawyers and judges talk? It is a foreign language to the common man and yet she classifies his statement as “legal gibberish”.

Where are we heading people in our nation today?

And in closing the judge stated that the people of this area “really don’t know the true Jake.” I think you do and I think you know an innocent man now sits in a prison for another victim-less crime and for standing for liberty of the Hammonds.
