Donald V. Gull

Donald V. Gull passed away June 8, 2018 at home in Superior.

Born in Fillmore, UT June 23, 1933, he graduated from Fillmore High School in 1951. He joined the Navy in 1952 – 1956 and went into the Seabees. He was stationed in Japan for two years and Quadulain for fourteen months. He married Frieda “Toots” Casper in 1954. They moved to Superior in 1956 where they lived for 60 years. Don worked road construction in Mineral County as Road Foreman and retired in 1995. He kept busy with his sawmill and road construction and many other things. He is survived by wife Frieda and sons David (Jody) Superior, Daniel (Bette) Frenchtown, and Doug (Sharon) Wolfcreek, MT, five grandchildren, Jake Gull, HI, Whitney Heitstuman, Lewistown ID, Anna Gull Calhoun, Priest River, ID, Derek Gull, Superior, Dylan Gull, Superior, and two step-grandsons Bryce and Devin Simpson, Frenchtown, brother Keith Gull, Jerome, ID.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother Vivian and Myrna and two sisters, one brother and two step-grandsons. Grant Simpson and Alan Halstead. Services will be held at Superior High school in the multi-purpose room Saturday, June 16, at 1 p.m.
