Mineral Community Hospital welcomes physical therapist

Mineral Community Hospital has a new physical therapist, Renee Gibson. She is from Missoula, and has 15 years of clinical experience providing strong manual-based orthopedic skills.

Gibson was previouly employed as an independent contractor for physical therapy. She also worked for a number of physical therapy offices in Dillon, Drummond, Anaconda, Butte, Ennis, Hamilton and in Alaska.

Her experience includes sports medicine, and total joint and post-operative rehabilitation. In addition to physical therapy, Gibson is a certified massage therapist, which includes myofascial release, manual lymphatic drainage, and Swedish, deep tissue and sports massage.

In the past, Gibson has volunteered for the Jimmie Heuga Ski Express for MS; was an Eagle Mount Missoula Adaptive ski instructor; volunteered at Camp Make-A-Dream Women’s Oncology Camp as a presenter; and was a youth coach for ZANY Zootown Area Nordic Youth Camp.
