The final community pot luck will be held in the 4-H Building at the Mineral County Fair Grounds starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 10. There will also be a speaker with a 25-30 minute program of interest. Coffee and lemonade will be provided along with the plates, napkins and utensils.

Those who participate are asked to bring an entree, dessert or salad to share. A special thanks to those who show up around 5:30 to help set up. For more information, call 822-3545.

Host families needed for Japanese students

The 4-H International programs at MSU in Bozeman are looking for host families for 25 Japanese students and 3 chaperones this summer. Learn about another culture when you host a student from Japan this summer. Students stay in Montana for one month to experience what it is like to live with an American family. Program dates are July 22-August 17, 2018 and delegates range in age from 12-16. Families with children who are within 2-3 years and the same gender as the person they host are encouraged to apply. Movie regarding health-care system set for March 14

“Now is the Time”, will be showing at the Superior Senior Center on Wednesday, March 14, immediately following their regularly scheduled dinner. The movie presents an option to our current health care system; discussion will follow. Dinner is served at 4:30 (fee for dinner) and the movie will begin at approximately 5 p.m.

Customer service training offered

In preparation for our growing visitor presence in Sanders County local businesses have requested a customer service training. We have coordinated with Flathead Valley CC and Hecla to offer a low fee, evening workshop

on March 21st in Trout Creek and March 22nd in Paradise. We will host a 2 ½ hour session that includes dinner. The workshop will be open to regional businesses in Lake, Mineral and Lincoln counties. Space is limited visit www.SandersCounty.org for additional information.
