Rosalie Debus Whitney Dale

Rosalie Debus Whitney Dale passed away peacefully on Jan. 26, 2018, after a long struggle with chronic pain, in Pennsylvania. She was born April, 21, 1929 in Kalispell.

Rosalie grew up in Plains, attended the University of Utah, and then pursued a career as a fashion design artist in Hollywood, California.

She married George R. Whitney, Jr. in 1951 and lived in California for many years. Rosalie remarried Arthur Jack Dale in 1964, and the family then moved to Radnor, Pennsylvania, where she resided the remainder of her life. She is survived by her daughter, Ann E. Whitney; son, George R. Whitney; step-son, R. Jack Dale; and step-daughter, Connie Newsom; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Rosalie had a zest for life, was a gifted artist, loved her family, animals, the joy of homemaking and her volunteer work at Bryn Mawr Hospital. Her friends and family remember her for her thoughtfulness and creativity.
