Thanks to the Friends of the Mineral County Public Library and a local web developer, the Mineral County Public Library now has a new mobile-optimized website.

“We’ve wanted to update our website for today’s mobile world for some time,” said Library Director, Guna Chaberek. “We got some funds raised through the Friends of the Library, and our webmaster Glenda S. Wallace went to work, donating a great deal of her time, as usual, to our cause. The new site is now launched and we ask you to check it out at mineralcountylibrary.org.”

Chaberek particulary likes the prominence of the Quick Search Library Catalog button on the new site. “It’s immediately visible on every page,” she explains. “Patrons can go directly to the Montana Shared Partnership Catalog to find and order Library items, but we hope they look around a bit, too.”

The website has expanded content for the Library’s two branches-Alberton and St. Regis-and retained its Popular Searches page with links to varied education and nursing resources. The Events page has a comprehensive list of Library activities, including the monthly calendar; a peek at the Superior Library’s Facebook posts; and ways you can support the Library.
