The Thompson Falls boys’ track team excelled at both their own invitational Thursday afternoon and the Big Sky Invitational Saturday afternoon in Missoula.

The Bluehawks’ track team excelled in virtually every category in both distance running events and throwing at both events.

T-Falls shined at the Blue Sky event and had 10 top-five placements in a very large and competitive event Saturday.

The success the Bluehawks had at Big Sky could be indicative of the success they look to showcase at the MHSA Class C state event May 24-26 at Laurel.

The Bluehawks Nate Tibeault finished fifth in the 400-meter dash, recording a time of 54.69 seconds, a personal record. Alex Erosa, recorded two personal records, finishing fourth in 800-meter run, recording a time of 2 minutes, 13.76 seconds and also finished fourth in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4 minutes, 57.50 seconds.
