Rita Haugen Stamm

On April 28, 2018, after many trials and tribulations, Rita clicked together her ruby slippers and left us for a more magical place.

She was born June 24, 1960 in Spokane, Washington, the only daughter of Kermit and Millie Haugen. Kermit and Millie preceded her in death.

Rita leaves behind six brothers, Terry (Vickie), Milo (Phyllis), Kelly (Rosanne), Chuck (Linda), Mark and Lynn (Candace). She also leaves her three step-daughters Amber, Amanda and Melanie whom she loved as her own. As well as a great friend Bill Hoskins and constant companion Shasta.

Although Rita never had any children of her own she was a wonderful nanny and childcare provider. She was fun and children adored her.

A celebration of life will be held this summer in Plains, when all the family can gather together. The date will be announced later.
