Bluehawks play Friday at Deer Lodge

Missoula Loyola made the trip to Thompson Falls to take on the Bluehawks in their Homecoming game, and took home a 41-6 victory.

The Rams scored two touchdowns in each of the first three quarters en route to a 41-0 lead. Their first score was on a 40-yard interception return by Bryce Danielson.

Ryan Tirrell scored the first of his three rushing touchdowns later in the opening period, on a 7-yard run. Tirrell ran for scores from 40 and 35 yards out in the second quarter. Nick Mitzel threw touchdown passes to Basil Coutinho and Cooper Waters in the third period.

Thompson Falls got on the scoreboard in the fourth quarter, scoring on a 45-yard pass from junior quarterback Trey Fisher to junior running back/receiver Nate Wilhite.

The Bluehawks play this Friday at 7 p.m. at Deer Lodge. The Wardens lost to Florence 26-20 last weekend. Judd Applegate had two rushing touchdowns and a TD reception from Greydon Nicholas for Deer Lodge.
