Plains took on homestanding Victor last Saturday, and dropped a 44-34 decision.

Thompson Falls lit the scoreboard for 50 points last Friday, but the Bluehawks were outscored by Deer Lodge, 54-50.

“We just didn’t show up to play very hard so we were in a hole,” Plains head coach Eddie Fultz said.

“We moved the ball pretty well, but it doesn’t matter a whole lot if you don’t stop them on the other side,” he said.

Matt McCracken had a big game, catching nine passes for 144 and two touchdowns. Treydon Brouillette threw for 218 yards and three scores, but had three passes picked off.

Sophomore Tucker Foster had a great game for the Horsemen, finishing with 14 tackles. Senior Malachi Paulsen led the team with 15 tackles.

Plains has its last home game of the season this Friday when the Horsemen host 5-2 Clark Fork at 7 p.m.

T-Falls has Senior Night this Friday at 7 p.m., hosting Florence, a team that was nipped by Eureka 29-27 last Friday.
