Two injured in Highway 200 crash
This Jeep Wrangler was one of two vehicles involed in a head-on collision on Monday, Oct. 22, on Montana 200 in Sanders County.

Two people were transported to Clark Fork Valley Hospital following a crash last week.
The crash ocurred around 1 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 22 at mile marker 79 on Montana Highway 200.
According to Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Zach Rehbein, the driver of a Jeep Wrangler attempted to pass a semi, coming upon a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Rehbein said that in addition to the illegal passing of the semi, the driver of the Wrangler was also using his cell phone. He was cited for improper passing.
The 30-year-old driver of the Wrangler was assessed by paramedics on scene, but refused further medical attention.
A 70-year-old male and 60-year-old female in the Grand Cherokee did not appear to have life-threatening injuries, but were taken to the hospital for further medical attention, Rehbein said.
The driver of the Wrangler is from Flathead County, while the occupants of the Grand Cherokee are from Idaho.
Everyone was reported as wearing their seat belts.
Plains City Volunteer Fire Department, Plains Rural Volunteer Fire Department, and ambulance services assisted the call.
Rehbein encourages drivers to be safe and alert when on the road.
