Ellen Dowell

Ellen L. Dowell, 75, of Plains, Mont., died on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 2:50 a.m. at her home.

She was born July 23, 1943, in Burlington, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph H. and Blanche M. Bemis Scott.

She married Jackie A. Dowell on Aug. 21, 1963, in Lomax, Ill.

She is survived by her husband, Jack; two sons, Jay and Terrie of Thompson Falls, and Scott and Tracy of Henry, Ill.; two grandchildren, Nichole of Thompson Falls and Levy of Kumamoto, Japan; and sister, Doris (Dick) Tillotson of Henderson, Nev. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be held on Sept. 28th at 11 A.M. at Plains Church on the Move. Internment to follow at Plains Cemetery.
