Wildhorse Sports Association is excited to be gearing up for the Spring 2019 sports season. This spring will see U8, U10, U12 and U14 softball girls take the fields. Cuteness in oversized T-shirts will be showcased with two T-Ball teams of boys and girls, as well as a Minors team, Majors team and a Babe Ruth team of young boys from Plains and the surrounding area. Soccer also showed growth this year and has a co-ed U10 soccer team, a girls’ U11 and boys’ U11 soccer teams as well as a boys’ U14 team, girls’ U15 team, and a co-ed U18 team.

This means lots of activity from now until the end of May at the Amundson Sports Complex. (See home game schedules below.)

We would like to remind fans of a few guidelines while enjoying the games. Due to insurance requirements for some of our teams, no dogs or cats are allowed outside of their vehicles during practices or games. Please be respectful of this ruling. Also, no alcohol, smoking or firearms are allowed at the complex during youth sporting events.

Amundson Sports Complex, managed by Wildhorse Sports Association (a 501(c)3 organization) is in its seventh year of providing quality playing fields for our area youth and brings athletes and fans into the area from all over Western, Central and Northern Montana. The project would not be possible without the generous donations of time, money, equipment and supplies from multiple people and businesses, and the advertisers who support us year after year. We hope you can come catch a game or two, support our youth in healthy and fun activities, grab a burger from the concession stand and enjoy our complex.

We host two fundraising events each summer and this year we will be hosting the 4th Annual Wildhorse ShootOut 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament on June 1, and the 4th Annual Wildhorse Showdown Co-Ed Softball Tournament July 26-28.

If you have any interest in helping at the complex, registering teams for our fundraising tournaments, or any general questions, you can always call 406-544-8493. We encourage you to follow us on Facebook for updates and information.
