Dennis Ridders

Our beloved Dennis T. Ridders, 71, who resided in Plains, Mont., went to heaven Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019, after an unfortunate accident that occurred at the Highway 135 and Highway 200 intersection.

He was a hero in the eyes of everyone that was blessed with knowing him. From Heaven he will always watch over his loving wife, Rose M. Ridders; their five children — Dennis J. Ridders, John R. Ridders, Shonna M. Ridders/Oppegard, Dawn D. Ridders and Toby S. Ridders; along with all of Dennis’ beautiful grandchildren, sisters, extended family and friends.

He served as a 173rd Airborne paratrooper in the Vietnam War, a minister, a logger for many years, and not to forget one heck of a musician. Dennis had a dedication to the ranch life, like his mother and father, teaching us all to appreciate every moment in life and slow down to enjoy the simple life.
