West Bowen Flockerzi of Trout Creek was found not fit to face trial at this time on several felony charges when he appeared before District Court Judge James Manley on Tuesday, May 28 at the Sanders County Courthouse in Thompson Falls. Flockerzi was committed to the Montana State Hospital in Warm Springs for treatment.

Flockerzi faces several felony charges, including attempted arson, assault with a weapon, two counts of criminal endangerment, and assault on a peace officer — all stemming from incidents alleged to have occurred in Trout Creek in November 2018. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

“Mr. Flockerzi, I hope that this treatment is effective so that you can get better and this matter can get resolved,” Manley told the defendant.
