Sanders County drivers to expect traffic delays

The Montana Department of Transportation has released information on three road construction projects to take place in Sanders county over the next few months. Two of them will be taking place on Montana Highway 200, and one will be on secondary highway 382. Expect travel delays.

MT-200 - Mile Marker 14.7 to 22.9

Four miles east of the junction with MT Highway 56 in Noxon.

Project will include: Seal and Cover, Crack Sealing, Rumble Strips and Pavement Markings.

What to expect: Chip Sealing Activities, Fresh Oil, Loose Gravel, Reduced Speeds of 25 MPH, Pilot Cars, Single Lane Traffic, Single Lane Closures, Traffic Control by Signal Lights and Flaggers.

MT-200 - Mile Marker 22.9 to 29.4

Trout Creek to six-and-a-half miles west.

Crews will be chip sealing, fog-coating, and striping starting Tuesday, June 11. Completion is expected on Thursday, June 13. Alternate routes are available for oversized loads.

What to expect: Chip sealing activities, Width Restriction of 11 feet, Delays up to 15 minutes, Fresh Oil, Loose Gravel, Reduced Speeds of 35 MPH, Pilot Cars, Single Lane Traffic, Single Lane Closures, Traffic Control by Signal Lights and Flaggers.

S-382 - Mile Marker 5.9 to 10.5

Perma Canyon, six miles north of junction with Mont. highway 200.

The project will include: Seal and Cover, Crack Sealing, Rumble Strips and Pavement Markings
