Plains, Thompson Falls claim gridiron wins

The Horsemen evened their record at 2-2 after using a big second-half performance to beat Arlee Friday, 46-20.

Plains led 22-12 at halftime before outscoring the Warriors 24-8 in the second half.

Gavin Regaldo led the Horsemen with four rushing touchdowns while Nathan McNulty and Treydon Brouilette each ran for 2-point conversions.

Colt Crawford led the Warriors (1-3) with two rushing touchdowns. Noah Coulson also caught a TD pass from quarterback Cody Tanner. Tanner also ran for a 2-point conversion.

Friday, Arlee hosts Darby and Plains hosts Thompson Falls.

Thompson Falls 64, Darby 22

The Blue Hawks got back on the winning track after losing last week.

They raced past Darby to run their record to 3-1.

Roman Sparks led Thompson Falls with three touchdowns while Trey Fisher and Nate Wilhite each scored twice. Derek Anderson caught a TD pass from Trey Fisher and B. Zimmerman ran for a TD.

Nate Wilhite and Fisher keyed a rushing attack that piled up 487 yards. Wilhite led the Blue Hawks with 209 yards on just 13 runs while Fisher had 133 yards on 13 carries. Sparks added 39 yards on five carries.

Thompson Falls hosts the Flint Creek co-op that includes Drummond and Granite.

Power-Dutton-Brady 46, Noxon 36

Noxon dropped to 2-1 Friday night, digging itself a deep hole by trailing 27-0 at halftime.

The Red Devils were led by Rylan Weltz’s three touchdowns and Josh Baldwin’s two scores. Baldwin scored on a pair of runs while Weltz ran for one TD and caught two TD passes from Brody Hill.

Noxon hosts Sheridan Friday.

Clark Fork co-op 60, Twin Bridges, Idaho 22

The Clark Fork co-op football of Superior and Alberton continues to be a success as the Mountain Cats hammered Twin Bridges, Idaho, 60-22, Friday.

Clark Fork (4-0) led 52-14 at halftime.

Trey Green led the winners with six touchdowns, including five rushing and one receiving. Green also ran for five 2-point conversions. Quarterback Bryan Mask threw four touchdown passes, including two to Jake Callaway. Mask added three 2-point conversion runs.

Kyler Francis caught a pair of TD passes, too.

Clark Fork has outscored its opponents by an average of 27.5 points, scoring 61 points per game and allowing 33.5.

The Mountain Cats play at Troy Friday.

Lakeside, Idaho 38, Mullan/St. Regis 6

The co-op of St. Regis, Montana, and Mullan Idaho, fell to Lakeside, Idago, 38-6, Friday.

St. Regis (3-1) has a week off before it plays at Clark Fork, Idaho.
