Food for Thought: How have you grown?

| December 23, 2020 12:00 AM

Christmas season is upon us. This is usually a time of celebration, hope and joy.

It is a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. For many people 2020 has been a different and difficult year.

Life has been full of challenges and tribulations. But with challenges and tribulations comes an opportunity to learn and grow.

So I ask you what have you learned? How have you grown?

Has this been a rebirth for you and time to reflect on changes you need to make?

Instead of making New Year's resolutions, change could be built on the development of spirituality. Research has shown people who practice spirituality are able to cope and adjust better than people do not practice this belief.

Each one of us comes into this world with two purposes. One is to develop spirituality and the other is to give your innate gifts and talents to others.

Instead of the material gift to others, what kind of spiritual gift can you offer? Examples would be anything relating to the human spirit such as hope, faith, confidence, harmony, charity, comfort, support, joy, love, etc.

Believe your gift is worth while and valuable. Create a new inner world to create a new outer world.

Merry Christmas!
