Aging affects us all and the Plains Paradise Senior Citizens Center is here to help.

The Center is nonprofit, which strives to provide needed services for the seniors in our community.

These services include nutritional meals on Wednesday and Friday each week at 11:45 a.m., home delivered meals five days a week to those who, for health reasons, need delivered meals.

Other services provided may include homemaker services, and transportation to appointments, or errands - not only in town - but to Missoula, Kalispell, Sand Point, and Thompson Falls, on a predetermined day. (Contact Transportation at 741-2346 for more information.)

The center also provides activities for seniors, such as Bingo for members and their guests following meals.

Groups also meet at the center for events. Currently, two groups meet for Bunco, one meets for Pinochle, and one meets for square dancing. The center is available to rent for any family or community event. Contact Judy Hulme at the Center, 826-3018, for more information.

Donations are key to the continued operation of our nonprofit organization. In the past, the Center has had a raffle to raise monies; however, the net profit has not been enough to justify additional raffles at this time.

Therefore, we are encouraging individuals and businesses to donate on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis to allow our center to continue to provide needed services to our seniors.

Any amount is welcomed and appreciated.

Donations may be made to the center by cash, check, or by an automatic donation from your checking account directly to the Plains Paradise Senior Citizens Center account at Rocky Mountain Bank.
