Harlee Joanne Salmi, 6
Harlee Joanne Salmi, 6, earned her wings and flew to heaven on May 6, 2020 after a year long battle with cancer.
Harlee was surrounded by her loving family until her last breath.
Harlee was born May 2, 2014 to Matt and Taylor Salmi. Harlee was a kind, empathetic, sassy, strong, and brave little girl.
Harlee lived life to the fullest in her short time here on earth and spent all her days smiling and loving others. Harlee especially loved swimming, soaking in her hot tub, playing with barbies, and spending time with her family.
Harlee taught everyone she met to love unconditionally and was a friend to everyone. Her sweet spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever. A life is not defined by length but rather by fullness and love, and by this measure Harlee had an incredibly fulfilling life!
If love could have saved her she would have lived forever. We rejoice in the fact that Harlee is able to run and play again in heaven!
Harlee is survived by her mom and dad, Matt and Taylor Salmi (Hot Springs), her sister Peyton, her brother Cooper and many grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family asks if you would like to make a gift in Harlee’s name that you donate to the Hope for Harlee foundation to establish a legacy scholarship in Harlee’s name.
Donations can be sent to P.O. Box 397, Hot Springs, Montana 59845, or directly to any Valley Bank of Ronan branch, Attn: Hope for Harlee.
A celebration of Harlee’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 16 in Hot Springs in a large field off Montana 77 (Michele and Jason Bangen’s field).
The address is 126 Old Hot Springs Road. There will be plenty of room to spread out and social distance. There will also be a mode of being present and listening to the service via radio from your car.
