Superior, St. Regis volunteers battle house fire

Volunteer firefighters from Superior and St. Regis tackled a blaze Saturday afternoon at a Stageline Drive residence in Superior. The very aggressive structure fire began in the garage of the two-story home. After two hours and six loads of tender supplied water crews were able to stop the spread of fire. The home experienced significant damage due to high winds during the fire and multiple explosions from welding gas bottles.
