Light Up Superior
The Mineral County Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Third Annual Light Up Superior to find the most “Highly Decorated Home in Superior.”
Judging will be done the week of Dec. 20 and $50 gift baskets provided by Darlows Quality Foods, S & S Convenience Store and Jackie’s Flowers Espresso & Gifts will be given to the three best decorated homes.
West End Alcoholics Anonymous meets Wednesday
The West End Alcoholics Anonymous in Deborgia meets every Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Deborgia School House right behind the fire hall.
Plains-Paradise Senior Center meals
Wednesday and Friday, lunch will be at 11:45 a.m. A free bus is available to and from meals with bingo to follow.
The cost is $5 for seniors and $7 for all others. For more information, call 826-3018.
The menu is subject to minor changes.
TOPS meeting each Friday at Plains Alliance
Take Pounds Off Sensibly (TOPS) meets each Friday at the Plains Alliance Church in the library. Weigh-in begins at 11 a.m. and the meeting begins at noon. The first visit is free.

Open Monday - Thursday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. “Some seating available, as long as social distancing is observed.”
Computer stations available for one hour of usage.
Plainly Speaking Toastmasters
It meets to practice communication skills at Plains Alliance Church, 505 West 1st St., Plains, at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Guests are welcome. Call Cindy at 406-646-6026 for more information.
St. Regis Branch Mineral County Library
Computer/WiFi access with COVID spacing and masks recommended. Local material check-out with access to the state Shared Library check-out-site. Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-8:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Located at the St. Regis School District Library.
New hours at Superior Library
It is open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. Added were things such as on Tuesday's bring your lunch and sit in the new lobby at the library, Wednesday's kids story and playtime starting at 10 a.m. On Tuesdays, crochet and knit lovers time and Thursday is book group. Both start at 2 p.m.
The Parents As Teachers group meets for storytime (Goose on the Loose) at 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
