Local Plains churches celebrate Christmas

It was a beautiful snowy evening Dec. 10 when local musicians and singers gathered together at a Plains church in celebration of Christmas. The Christ Concert Sing Along was open to the public at Plains Bible Chapel, and was a non-denominational event, supported by many churches in the Plains area.

The organizer of the event, Jeanine Croft and her husband, have been making music most of their lives and it is easy to see her love of music with the energy she displays on the stage. The music was fun and lively, and at times, getting the audience involved. The concert ended with holiday deserts and treats.

Croft plans on making this an annual event for the community. She hopes to also put on a concert in the park for the summertime. She knows there must be more musicians and singers out there in the community and would love to bring them together for future events.

Croft would like to invite any musician, singer, or musical group to get in touch with her by phone, text or email: 7resolute@gmail.com or 406-242-5111.

Croft said that it is never too soon to contact her. She is already coming up with ideas for next year’s Community Christmas Concert.
