Bull River Clinic welcomes new doctor

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center welcomes Dr. John S. Aumiller to the care team at Cabinet Peaks Clinic Bull River in Sanders County, Montana.

Dr. Aumiller joins the CPMC team with a plethora of experience in the medical realm. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a Fellow of the American Board of Cardiology, a Fellow of the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Intervention and holds certification from the Board of Nuclear Cardiology.

Dr. Aumiller attended undergraduate at the Pennsylvania State University, attended Medical College at Hahnemann Medical College, Drexel University in Philadelphia and completed his internship and residency at LAC/USC Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Dr. Aumiller previously practiced interventional cardiology and pacemaker therapy in Pasadena, California until 1990 and then set up a cath lab in Danville, Kentucky, at the first of two hospitals providing acute interventions at community sized hospitals in the state in 2007.

He retired to Trout Creek with the idea of giving part-time contribution to medicine in a rural setting.

“The mountain west has had me coming here since a friend introduced me to it in 2000,” Dr. Aumiller said. “We have been coming here for summer vacations with our kids ever since then!”

He and his wife have six grown children, all of whom are very athletic and successful in their current paths.

“We are thrilled to have Dr. Aumiller join our Bull River team,” said Crystal Krabbenhoft, Clinic Operations Manager. “The knowledge and skill he brings to our rural clinic is an amazing asset.”
