Clark Fork Mountain Cats enter playoffs on hot streak
The 14-C regular season champion Clark Fork Mountain Cats kept cruising with a 65-50 win over Noxon, Thursday.
Carson Callison scored 16 points for Clark Fork. Orion Plaake chipped in 14 points, and Danner Haskins and Aaron Waddle each scored 13 for the Mountain Cats, who had a big second quarter to turn a first quarter deficit into an 8-point lead at halftime.
Noxon's Cade Van Vleet poured in 22 points while Brody Hill added 13.

St. Regis 72, Plains 32
Caleb Ball was red-hot for the Tigers with 27 points and led the way in a 72-32 rout Thursday.
Tanner Day scored 18 points, John Pruitt had 11 and Andrew Sanford added 10 for the Tigers, who led 21-9 after the first quarter.
Plains’ leading scorers were Nathan Feliksa and Parker Flock, whom each had eight points.
St. Regis 71, Charlo 52
Sanford scored 19 points with Tanner Day and Caleb Ball each tallying 18 to help the Tigers coast by Charlo, 71-52. The Tigers led by 20 at halftime.
Hot Springs 40, Plains 37
Kyle Lawson’s 16 points helped Hot Springs held off a late Plains rally for a 40-37 victory Friday. Gabe Gamboa scored 12 and Parker Flock had nine for the Horsemen.
The Horsemen led 11-7 after one quarter but the Savage Heat rebounded for a 21-17 halftime lead.
In Class B action, Bigfork wrapped up the Western 7-B championship and avenged their last loss with a 67-60 win over Thompson Falls Saturday.
The Vikings (10-2, 7-1) won their eighth straight game. Bryce Gilliard led with 21 points.
Bigfork led 38-31 at the half and 51-41 after three quarters.
The Blue Hawks (11-3, 6-2) got 14 points from Justin Morgan while Kade Pardee added 12 and Nathan Schraeder scored 11.
On Jan. 12, the Hawks came to Bigfork and claimed an 81-75 win.
Thompson Falls 73, Stillwater Christian 47
Kade Pardee led with 18 points, Dante Micheli added 16 and Nathan Schraeder did his share with 14 to power Thompson Falls past Stillwater Christian 73-47, Thursday.
Noxon 38, Hot Springs 37
Derrick Christensen scored 10 points and Wyatt Lackner eight for Noxon as the Red Devils squeaked out a nail-biter over Hot Springs.
Jack McAllister and Mario Garcia had 10 points each for the Savage Heat.
