Heron man dies in motorcycle crash

A Heron man died in a motorcycle crash after colliding with a deer in Sanders County.

According to information from Montana Highway Patrol, the 59-year-old man was driving a 2006 Honda motorcycle north on Four Corners Road just south of Harker Road when it struck a deer.

The man was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Speed was a suspected factor in the crash and the man was not wearing a helmet, according to the report.
