Haugan man dies in crash on Montana 200

A 37-year-old Haugan man died in traffic crash early Monday morning in Sanders County.

According Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Terrance Rosenbaum, the man was driving a 2012 Chevy Tahoe west on Montana 200 near Noxon at about 6:45 a.m. when the vehicle left the road on the left side, rolled over a tree and came to rest on its wheels.

The man, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene. Road conditions were described as wet at the time of the crash.
