Sanders County election results

Here are the Sanders County municipal election results from Nov. 2.

In Hot Springs, Mayor Randy Woods was unopposed and garnered 99 votes.

Two seats were open for council members with four candidates. Leslee B. Smith tallied 80 votes and Cayla Storaasli Aldridge had 66.

In Plains, Mayor Dan Rowan’s 193 votes more than doubled Michael Brinson’s 90.

For city council, in Ward 1, seat 2, Joel Banham won with 61 votes to George D. Stone’s 19.

The other four seats were uncontested. In Ward 1, Connie Foust collected 62 votes for seat 1. In Ward 2, seat 2, Audrey K. Kolbeck had 53 votes. In Ward 2, seat 1, John R. Sheridan had 57 votes. In Ward 3, seat 2, Christopher Allen had 108 votes.

In Thompson Falls, Mayor Mark Sheets along with council members Larry Lack, Earlene M. Powell and Shawni Vaught were each elected by acclamation.
